Wellness Wednesday: Christie Brinkley Timeless Beauty Book Review & Recipe

I grew up in the era of the Supermodel.

I mean in the 80s-90s they were everything.

You could say the names Christie, Cindy, Naomi or Claudia and everyone knew who you were talking about.

One of those ladies, Christie Brinkley, will be 62 years old in February and she is just as gorgeous as ever.

So when she came out with her first new book in over 30 years, Timeless Beauty, I grabbed it.

In it she shares the secrets she’s learned on what to eat, how to apply makeup like a pro and lots of healthy & delicious recipes as well.

One of the recipes she shares in the book is a recipe for a Acai, Banana and Berries Smoothie that is almost identical to one I make as well.

So today I thought I’d share my recipe with you here.

Acai, Banana and Berries Smoothie

  • 1/2 banana.
  • 1/2 cup raspberries.
  • 1/2 cup blackberries.
  • 1/2 blueberries.
  • 1/2 cup of ice.
  • 1/2 cup coconut water, apple juice, etc.
  • 1 pack of frozen smoothie pack of acai puree.
  • A tablespoonful of flax seed powder.

  • Combine in blender, blend until smooth and enjoy.

    Her’s is very similar it just doesn’t include the blueberries or flax seed powder so feel free to add or remove whatever you like.
