Wellness Wednesday: 5 Factor Fitness
5 Factor Fitness Retails for $11.49 on Amazon.
I’m very inconsistent when it comes to working out.
One week I’ll be all about yoga and the next it’s Zumba.
I just can’t make up my mind what I want to do and I get bored with workouts easily.
Having said that though there’s one program that I always consistently go back to time and time again and that’s 5 Factor Fitness.
I first heard about the program back in 2004 when Jessica Simpson mentioned it was a favorite of hers.
So I being a huge Jessica Simpson/Newlyweds fan at that time ran to the bookstore immediately and picked it up.
I’m sure I was also wearing a Juicy Couture or Primp sweat suit because hey it went along with the territory at that time haha.
(If you have any idea what I mean by that last sentence then we were meant to be BFF’s haha.)
Fast forward nine years later and I’m still using and loving the program!
It’s not just Jessica and I who love it though other celebrity fans of the plan include Hilary Duff, Megan Fox, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Amanda Seyfried and Halle Berry just to name a few.
That’s great you say, but what the heck is 5 Factor Fitness?
It’s a program where you do 25-minute workouts, five days a week and that’s it.
Harley’s workouts can be broken down into a simple formula that looks something like this: five minutes of cardio, 15 minutes of strength training and five more minutes of cardio to cool down.
It may not sound like a big deal, but trust me it works.
No other program works for me quite like it does.
I actually just started it back up after a few months of hiatus 2 weeks ago and I’ve already lost 6 pounds.
I love the book and probably use it the most, but I also own the DVDs and they’re amazing as well.
I honestly don’t think you can go wrong with any of it.
