Wet n Wild Cover All Pressed Powder Review, Swatches & Photos

Wet n Wild Cover All Pressed Powder Review, Swatches & Photos

Looking for a cheap, drugstore powder that works?

You may want to give this one a try.

I picked this powder up recently and while I wasn’t expecting much I have to say I was actually pretty pleased with it.

Here are my pros and cons.

Helps keep oil and shine at a minimum.
Is buildable.
Smooth & Creamy
Doesn’t settle into fine lines or wrinkles (Not that you or I have any, but you know in case you know someone who does *wink**wink*)
Price: $3.99

The packaging is on the cheaper side.
No mirror.
Not available in darker shades.

Is this the best powder I’ve ever used?

No, but I do find it to be a good powder at a great price.

A great option for those of you on a budget.

Have you tried the Wet n Wild Coverall Powder yet?

I just bought the powder in Fair for $2.99 (such a great price)! I was so excited to see a shade that actually matches my very light skin tone. The lightest shade in 99.9999999% of drugstore lines is either too dark, too pink, or too yellow for me. I end up looking orange, cake-y, or like I have jaundice. Yuck. πŸ˜› Needless to say I was so super happy to find a very light neutral/balanced shade in Fair! I’ve only had the Coverall powder for a few days but so far I really like it. It’s very smooth and silky! I normally spend a small fortune on concealer/foundation/powder because of the issues I have finding good color matches so it was really refreshing to spend $2.99 on a face powder!

As for darker shades… I noticed the Walgreens I went to only had the lighter range of shades in the display (Fair, Fair/Light, Light, Light/Medium, and Medium). I thought it was strange that there wasn’t anything darker than Medium so I had a look online and found there are 3 more shades in the line which are darker: Medium/Tan, Tan, and Deep Tan. I know the darker shades aren’t very deep but there are a few more options.

    Hi Lily,

So glad you finally found a shade that works for you!

I’m pretty pale myself so I know how difficult it can be.

Also thanks for the info on the darker shades.

I would look at the light/medium shade and see what you think. I’m going based on memory, but I think that shade would most likely be a good match.

Thanks darling :) And Can I ask one more thing? I have oily skin and I live in South East Asia. Can I use this powder? I’m still considering between this and the Revlon Nearly Naked powder

I live in Florida (hot & humid climate most of the time) and I have combo/ oily skin. The powder works well for me so I’d say it would work for you as well. As you probably know by now nothing will keep us oily girls shine free all day, but this is a great powder and will help. I’d recommend a great primer, oil free foundation, this powder on top and then a setting spray such as Ben Nye Final Seal. It’s a great setting spray that works very well at keeping your makeup on and flawless all day. If I can answer any other questions you may have don’t be afraid to ask.
