Flower Lip Butter in Tempting Tulip Review, Swatches and Photos
Flower Lip Butters can be purchased at WalMart and Retail for $6.98 a piece.
As promised here’s another Flower product review.
This time I’ll be reviewing the Lip Butter in Tempting Tulip.
I’ll start with what they claim:
Flower Lip Service Lip Butter has a buttery-soft texture that glides on easily, leaving lips looking smooth and full. The rich texture provides an optical plumping effect and has a high percentage of emollient oil for a super-smooth, shiny finish.
I don’t know where they get the buttery-soft glides on easily part of the claim, because this product is more like a lipstick than a lip butter and it takes a little bit of “push” to get it going.
Once you get the product warmed up though it’s not bad I just don’t consider it a lip butter.
I also didn’t notice an optical, plumping effect.
In fact I’d say if you have dry lips or lips with fine lines in them this product would make them look worse.
My lips weren’t even dry or anything and this lip butter didn’t do them any favors.
The one claim that is true in my opinion is the one about it being non tacky.
Because these lip butters aren’t moisturizing and are a harder formula they don’t have a tacky finish at all.
I don’t love these or hate them they’re just OK.
You have dry, mature lips
You love a creamy lip butter like the Revlon ones
You want a non tacky finish
I’d pick this up again if there was a color I couldn’t live without, but they’ll never be a can’t live without product like my beloved Revlon Lip Butters.
Have you tried these yet?
