Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Palette Review

As you know by now I’m a huge fan of Huda Beauty products.

I own her liquid lipsticks, highlighters and my fave the Rose Gold palette which I reviewed here.

So when I tell you I was up at 3:00 am when the Desert Dusk palette launched earlier this week you won’t think I’m crazy right?

Yes, I’m one of those people who stay up all night when a new palette launches to make sure I get one in case they sell out.

Of course, this one didn’t, but at least I had other beauty addicts like myself who were also up waiting on the launch to text with lol.

So was it worth it?

Yes, mostly!

If you’re a fan of the Rose Gold palette then you’ll love this one just as much.

The reason I said Yes, mostly is because I did have a problem with the shade Cosmo coming crumbly and messed up and when I went to use the palette again (right after taking these photos) over half the shadow fell out onto my carpet when I went to use it so I wasn’t very happy about that.

I know several others have had the same problem as well so just know that cosmo is a very delicate shade before you buy the palette.

Having said that though the palette is gorgeous.

It features 18 versatile shades that can be layered in infinite ways to create a vast array of looks.

I love that it has some of the orange/red shades I loved so much in the Rose Gold palette, but has also added a lot of purple shades as well.

From subtle, natural looks to dramatic statements and bold glittering looks, this palette will become your new essential for all your makeup routines.

I still recommend the palette even though I’m over the cosmo shade at the moment ha!

Desert Dusk is available on Sephora now and in stores in October.

It retails for $65.00.

Will you be picking up the palette?
