Skincare Empties August 2017 Edition

Look at me bringing you another empties post.

I mean I don’t even know who I am anymore finishing all of these products like a “normal person”.

Ha.

No, but seriously as a beauty addict/blogger, I am always testing out the next best thing so products haven’t always been used up like they should.

Lately, however, I have made it my mission to try and finish more products.

So what have I finished lately in skincare?

Let’s take a look.

1. Tata Harper Illuminating Eye Creme $95.00.

I love Tata Harper products and this one was no exception.

It minimizes the look of lines and wrinkles and instantly illuminates with diamond dust.

Would repurchase!

2. Korres Greek Yoghurt 3 in 1 Cleansing, Toning, and Eye Makeup Removing Emulsion $24.00.

I was not a fan of this product at all and it was very hard for me to finish it.

I didn’t feel like it did a good job of cleansing, toning or removing makeup.

Would not repurchase.

3. Korres Greek Yoghurt Advanced Nourishing Sleeping Facial $46.00.

Love this!

This product melts easily into skin and works overnight to provide intense, immediate moisturization.

Would repurchase.

4. Korres Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser $26.00.

This is the product that started my love affair with the Korres brand.

One of my favorite face cleansers for sure.

Would and have already repurchased.

5. Ren Rosa Centifolia Purity Cleansing Balm $40.00.

I wasn’t a huge fan of this balm, to be honest.

I didn’t find it did anything special so I would not repurchase.

6. Ole Henriksen Truth Serum $48.00-$128.00.

I really enjoy the scent of this product, the way it applies and how it feels on the skin.

I can’t really tell it does much for my skin though.

Having said that, I have been taking good care of my skin for years (using vit c, retinol, acids, etc) so maybe it’s building collagen and doing its job and I just can’t tell.

Would repurchase.

7. Radical Skin Care Advanced Peptide Antioxidant Serum $190.00.

This serum is for all skin types and is said to fight 16 identified causes of aging.

I, however, couldn’t tell it did anything.

Did it feel nice on the skin? Yes.

Was it moisturizing? Yes.

But for almost $200.00 dollars it needs to do something more and I just honestly couldn’t tell it was any better than a basic moisturizer.

Would not repurchase.

8. Vichy Idealia Life Serum $39.00.

This is a nice serum I just wish it wasn’t so heavily fragranced.

Would repurchase.

9. Holika Holika Baby Pet Magic Anti Wrinkle Pug Sheet Mask Price Varies.

I actually use several sheet masks a week, but this one was the only one I managed to keep.

This mask is too cute when applied you end up looking like a pug yourself, hehe.

I didn’t notice a difference with my wrinkles, but I never do with most sheet masks.

It was nice and relaxing though.

Would repurchase.

10. Kopari Coconut Cleansing Oil $32.00.

This product was okay.

Kinda meh.

Wouldn’t go out of my way to repurchase it.

11. Refissa Retin A Cream.

I’ve been using this product for almost 2 years now, but have since found a gentler vitamin a cream to replace it with.

One that in my opinion works just as well for aging but has left my skin looking better than it ever has before.

So no I would most likely never go back to harsher retin a creams when there are products that work just as good if not better out there.

12. Caudalie Vino Perfect Brightening Essence $42.00.

I didn’t see any change with this product.

This was a 5ml sample size though so I’m not sure there was enough there to give it a fair chance.

Probably wouldn’t repurchase.

So that’s my skincare empties for August.

What did you use up this month?

Note:

All prices are for full priced items so if I show a sample I’m giving you the price it would cost you to purchase the full size.

Hope that makes sense.

Best,

Leigh
