Huda Beauty 3D Highlighter Palette, Lip Strobes & More

Off topic, but did anyone pick up the Too Faced Kandee Johnson palette on today?

I was on the site when it launched ordering it that’s how excited I was.

Expect a review of that when it comes in (next week most likely.)

Enough about that for now though, today we are discussing another YouTuber, Huda Kattan.

Huda has a makeup line called Huda Beauty that is honestly quickly becoming one of my favorites.

I reviewed her Rose Gold Shadow palette here back in May and it’s amazing.

I also reviewed her Lip Contour set last December here.

Well since then my Huda Beauty collection has grown to include the 3D Highlighter Palette in Pink Sands, a metallic lip strobe in Angelic and The Nude Edition Lip Matte Minis so I wanted to share reviews of the new items with you guys today.

So where should I start?

Hmmmm….let’s start with the 3D Highlighter Palette.

First of all, can we just talk about the packaging?

So gorgeous!

I don’t know if you can tell in the pictures, but her face highlight on the box has a 3D effect to it which is such a gorgeous addition to the packaging in my opinion.

Secondly, the shades in the palette are amazing.

The palette features two different textures: a pearlescent creamy shade and three light-catching pressed pearl hues.

Inspired by Huda Kattan’s hack of layering oil with powder highlighter to amplify her glow.

The three, light-catching pressed pearls are staggered in complimentary tones to give you sculpted, 3D radiance.

Highly recommend!

Next up is the Nude Edition Liquid Matte Minis.

I picked up this set because I was a huge fan of the shades bombshell and trendsetter (which were in the contour kit I purchased back in December) and I ran out of them recently.

So I thought why not get this set so I could try the two other shades (Venus & Flirt) as well.

I really enjoy these matte shades, but I always have to add a touch of gloss to the center of my lips.

What can I say I’m a gloss girl at heart, so a full on matte lip just isn’t my thing.

Which leads me to the Lip Strobe Metallic Lip Gloss in Angelic.

I picked this one up to wear in the center of my lip and it looks amazing.

I will pick up more shades in the future for sure.

Here they are swatched for you.

L to R: Venus, Bombshell, Flirt, Trendsetter and Angelic.

If you haven’t tried anything from Huda Beauty before I highly recommend the brand.

Like I said it’s quickly becoming a favorite of mine.

Oh and yes I will for sure be picking up her new palette when it launches in September so keep an eye out for that review as well haha.

Have you tried Huda Beauty products before?
