My Current Beauty Empties July 2017 Edition

It’s been about a month since I last did an empties post, and as usual, they are piling up.

So today I wanted to share with you the products I’ve used up in the past month or so as well as give you a quick review of each item.

1. Malin + Goetz Facial Cleansing Oil $42.00.

I used this cleansing oil as a first cleanse at night and really enjoyed it. It uses grapeseed, avocado and olive oils to remove makeup without irritation or drying.

Would I repurchase? Yes.

2. Guerlain Eau De Beaute Refreshing Micellar Solution $59.00.

Micellar Cleansing Water can be used as a makeup remover, cleanser, and toner for quick and effective cleansing in just one step. I, however, am a girl who loves to wear makeup so I usually only use micellar water more as a toner/before toner step. Something like first cleanse, second cleanse, then a quick swipe of micellar water to make sure all makeup is gone, then tone, etc.

Would I repurchase? Probably not. It was nice and I enjoyed it, but for almost $60.00 I think I’ll stick to less expensive options.

3. Shiseido Ibuki Softening Concentrate $24.00.

By supplying skin with generous moisture, Shiseido Ibuki Softening Concentrate helps deliver immediately effective ingredients into the skin for a softer, smoother feel. It also enhances the benefits of the skincare that follows.

Would I repurchase? Yes.

4. Tarte Frxxxtion Stick $22.00.

This is an exfoliator, cleanser, and face mask all in one.

Would I repurchase? No. I didn’t really see what all the hype was about, to be honest.

5. It Cosmetics Bye Bye Makeup Cleansing Balm $38.00.

This cleanser is very nice as a first cleanse as I find that it removes all my makeup very well.

The only downside is that since my skin has been more normal/dehydrated these days the product melts into my skin quickly causing me to use more than I normally would. I do think because of that however that oily skinned girls would really like this one.

Would I repurchase? Yes. I already have.

1. Kahina Giving Beauty Toning Mist $46.00.

This is a very nice, gentle toner spray with argan leaf and white tea extracts.

Would I repurchase? No. It was nice and I enjoyed it, but it did nothing special for the price.

2. L’OCCITANE Immortelle Precious Mist $16.00.

This alcohol-free face mist is enriched with immortelle floral water for refreshed skin.

Would I repurchase? Yes. It was nice and refreshing and I really enjoyed using it as a makeup refresher and setting spray.

3. Meaningful Beauty by Cindy Crawford Ultra Lifting and Filling Treatment $64.00.

Designed to visibly lift sagging skin and help fill in and plump up the look of lines and wrinkles, the Meaningful Beauty Ultra Lifting and Filling Treatment is a dual-action serum and non-invasive line filler that contains an exclusive orchid extract that helps promote healthy collagen production.

Would I repurchase? Yes. This product works great as a primer/serum combo for me. I use it under my makeup and can tell that everything sits much nicer on the skin.

4. Proactiv Pore Targeting Treatment $60.00.

Proactiv+’s gentle lightweight gel clears acne blemishes using Smart Target benzoyl peroxide.

Would I repurchase? Yes and No. Currently, my skin hasn’t been breaking out much at all so I don’t need it. Having said that though if you do need a similar product it’s the best one I’ve ever used.

5. GlamGlow Glamstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow $49.00.
A hydrating, super-charged cream with iridescent illuminating pearl particles to blur, reflect, and enhance your complexion for an instant luminous finish.

Would I repurchase? Yes. I already have.

6. Sunday Riley Tidal $65.00.

An intensive moisturizing treatment suitable for all skin types.

Would I repurchase? Probably not. It was nice, but nothing I can’t live without.

7. Rodan & Fields REDEFINE™ Overnight Restorative Cream $78.00.

Am I the only person in the world who is over the Rodan & Fields hype?

I was given several R&F items to test out for review and I honestly didn’t notice a difference with any of them.

Would I repurchase? No.

1. The Body Shop Vanilla Brulee Body Polish $20.00.

This was a very nice body polish and I really enjoyed it.

Would I repurchase? Yes. I don’t see the scent on the website anymore though so I would try another one.

2. LOCCITANE Amande Shower Oil $25.00.
A decadent body cleanser that is rich in almond oil and features a foaming oil-to-milk texture that leaves skin satiny-smooth.

Would I repurchase? Yes.

3. Uncle Harry’s Natural Toothpaste in Spearmint $6.00.

A natural toothpaste that refreshes the mouth with powerful mineral clay, sea salt, and pure plant essences. It encourages remineralization of tooth enamel by neutralizing acids and bacteria, supplying calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus for strengthening teeth, and maintaining a naturally alkaline pH.

Would I repurchase? Yes. I already have.

4. BIOHM Probiotic Supplement $39.99.

This is the next generation of probiotics that balances the total microbiome of bacteria and fungi in your gut.

Would I repurchase? Yes.

5. Adama ClayDry Deodorant Original $5.94.

This aluminum-free deodorant works and works well. I find it keeps me dry and odor free much longer than most natural deodorants. If I’m going to be outside in the heat all day or doing some serious working out then I’ll have to reapply, but otherwise, I find it works quite nicely.

Would I repurchase? Yes. I already have.

1. It Cosmetics Superhero Mascara $24.00.

Great for length and volume.

Would I repurchase? Yes. I already have.

2. Dior Forever Foundation $50.00.

A luminous, matte-finish foundation that flawlessly corrects while providing exceptional comfort.

Would I repurchase? Yes. It’s currently my favorite foundation and I’m almost on my third bottle.

3. MD Lash Factor $140.00.

A conditioning treatment for longer and healthier brows and lashes.

Would I repurchase? No. I didn’t notice any difference at all.

So that’s it.

My Current Empties.

I always feel a sense of accomplishment when I finish a beauty product don’t you?

What have you finished lately?

Best,

Leigh
