My Morning Skincare Routine

I was sent the StriVectin Intensive Eye Concentrate for review consideration, but all thoughts are my own. In addition this post may contain affiliate links to certain products.

I often get asked to do a skincare post and the only reason I keep putting it off is because as a blogger/skincare junkie I’m always trying new products.

So what that means is even if I really love a product I may be onto something new shortly so it’s hard to do a post when I’m always trying something new.

Having said that though I finally sat down and took note of the items I currently use and love the most.

So today I’ll share my Morning Routine with a Nighttime Routine to follow in the weeks to come.

Oh and so you know I have oily/combo/late 30’s skin so I’m very into anti aging skincare.

To Cleanse:

I hardly ever wash my face with a cleanser in the morning, but on the rare occasion that I do I use something nice and gentle like the Yes to Coconuts Ultra Hydrating Cleanser.

More often than not though I just use a cleansing wipe like the Pacifica Purify ones and follow that with a toner such as the Pixi Glow Tonic <-------OBSESSED!! treat

To Treat:

I’m also currently obsessed with the Dermadoctor Kakadu C 20% Vitamin C Serum with Ferulic Acid & Vitamin E.

After that I usually use my SkinCeuticals Advanced Pigment Corrector which is amazing at reducing hyperpigmentation.

If my skin is breaking out (which is usually hormonal) I will either use the Murad Acne Clearing Solution (not pictured because I ran out recently) or Proactiv Pore Targeting Treatment on the breakouts and they vanish quickly.

I currently have two serums I rotate under my moisturizer and they are the Pacifica Sea Change and the Radical Skincare Peptide Antioxidant Serum.

I recently picked up the Equitance Hydrating Brightening Cream so I apply that first.

Then I apply a few drops of StriVectin Intensive Eye Concentrate under my eyes.

Lastly I use the Obagi Medical Sun Shield Broad Spectrum 50 Sunscreen if I plan on being out in the sun at all.

So that’s it.

Don’t have the money/desire to go out and buy everything listed?

No problem!

I’d say the stand out products for me are the Dermadoctor Kakadu C and SkinCeuticals Advanced Pigment Corrector.

They are both great products to add to any anti aging routine.

Hope you enjoyed this post and if you’d like to see reviews of a certain product just ask.

What are some of your current favorite skincare items?
