Philosophy Purity Made Simple Deep Clean Mask Review and Photos.

I picked up this product several months ago, because I’ve always been a fan of the face wash by the same name and I kept hearing rave reviews about it.

I must say though that I’m very disappointed with it and that’s why it has taken me so long to review it.

But before I get started with the review here’s what they say about the product.

Philosophy Purity Made Simple Deep Clean Mask:

Transforms lackluster skin into a radiant, healthy-looking complexion.

It’s fortified with mineral-rich, deep-cleansing sea salts to help naturally purify and detoxify, and marine extracts and vitamin E to smooth.

Skin is left glowing, supple, and hydrated.

Now my thoughts:

I honestly don’t know who is rating this product 4 out of 5 stars on Sephora, but I’d give it a 2 1/2 or 3 max.

Why?

1: I’m not a chemist, but just looking at the ingredients I don’t see anything that makes it Holy Grail worthy.

2: You only leave this on your skin for one minute and then wash it off and I don’t feel like 60 seconds is enough time to actually make a difference in my skins appearance.

3: If you leave it on longer than two minutes it actually dries your skin out.

4: I never saw the glowing, supple, hydrated skin they promised.

What did I see?

Not much really.

I’m not sure if it’s because I use a clarisonic daily and my pores are pretty much cleaned out already or if the product just doesn’t work.

All I know is I’ve used almost the entire bottle now and never noticed much of a difference at all.

I’ve honestly tried those 99 cent masks from the drugstore before that worked way better than this one did.

Overall for the $25.00 price tag I’d say skip this mask and go with something else instead.

I’m still loving the Miracle Skin Transformer one I mentioned here.

It’s a much better mask in my opinion.

Have you tried this mask yet?

Thoughts?

What’s your favorite mask?

Best,

Leigh
