It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation Review, Photos and Swatches.
I recently did some shopping for It Cosmetics products as I’m always on the hunt for an amazing foundation both for myself and my kit.
I couldn’t decide between the celebration foundation illumination (white packaging) and the celebration foundation (black packaging) so I picked up both.
You can purchase the foundations separately for $35.00 each, which is what I did for the illumination foundation.
But on the It Cosmetics site you can pick up the celebration foundation and a Dual Airbrush Foundation Concealer Brush in a duo for $49.50 so I picked that up as well and let me tell you the brush is amazing and you totally need it in your life seriously!
So anyway before I get into the review….
Here’s what they say about the celebration illumination foundation (white packaging)….
Full Coverage Anti-Aging Illuminating Foundation.
It’s truly 30 seconds to full coverage and illumination to your skin!
This Illuminating formula features the same good for you, skin loving ingredients you have come to know and love with the original Celebration Foundation®, but with the added element of Illumination to add a subtle touch of radiance to your skin.
Formulated with Hydrolyzed Collagen, Peptides, Anti-Oxidants and Drops of Light™ Technology for the ultimate, soft, candlelit glow complexion.
This full coverage foundation is infused with key ingredients such as Niacin, Hyaluronic Acid, Rose, Silk and Aloe that help to leave skin fresh and hydrated, never dry or cakey!
And the Celebration Foundation (black packaging)….
We worked with plastic surgeons to develop an anti-aging powder foundation, that doesn’t crease, doesn’t crack and doesn’t make you look older and completely covers anything and everything!
It’s packed with anti-aging ingredients and gives a true airbrushed look that works on all ages!
Now my thoughts….
I love these products!
I’m a huge fan of powder foundations, but I feel like this foundation has a fuller coverage than most.
Meaning it takes a lot less work to get that fuller coverage a lot of women desire.
I have hyperpigmentation, dark spots, dark circles and all kinds of other good stuff (boo) and this foundation covers it pretty darn well.
A lot better than most liquid foundations for sure.
And you don’t need a ton of the product with this either.
Less is actually more!
Just swirl the brush in the product then tap and buff into skin.
It’s that easy.
I was honestly shocked by the coverage of this product and it doesn’t look cakey at all!
If you find it does you’re using too much product.
Oh and the brush is just amazing!
I love it and the concealer end is perfect for packing on extra product to those dark spots or problem areas.
As for which foundation I prefer the celebration or the celebration illumination I honestly don’t notice much of a difference.
As you can see in the photo they both have a very similar finish.
Illumination is on the left and Celebration on the right.
I think they both have an amazing semi dewy finish to them that I just love.
I don’t think you could go wrong with either.
Oh and as for shades I got illumination in light and celebration in med beige.
If you’re someone with my skin tone you can pretty much wear either shade without a problem.
I’m so happy I decided to try these products and I will definitely be re buying them once they run out.
I highly recommend them to anyone except maybe those with extremely dry skin.
Have you tried the It Cosmetics Celebration or Celebration Illumination foundations before?
