Wellness Wednesday: Celebrity Fitspiration Maria Menounos
I opened my mail box the other day to find the latest issue of Women’s Health magazine, with Maria Menounos on the cover, staring back at me.
It was then as I was pulling it out of the mail box that it dawned on me that Maria had to be the next Wellness Wednesday post, because I mean hello ABS!
My stomach hurts just thinking of all the crunches that must be involved in keeping her tummy so toned.
So what’s her secret?
Oddly enough Maria doesn’t mention 1,000 crunches daily, but she does mention yoga.
Maria says she does 10-15 minutes of yoga every morning with her makeup artist and claims she hasn’t had a gym membership in over 13 years.
She also says she loves a good game of basketball and hosts basketball barbeques at her home often and counts them as exercise.
The song that pumps her up and gets her in the mood to workout?
“Welcome to the Jungle by Guns N Roses.”
I feel like Maria and I could totally be BFFs because I don’t know about you, but a basketball game barbeque with a little GNR playing in the background sounds like my idea of a fun time hahaha.
Who’s with me?
Ahhhh yeah. Now I feel the urge to go workout too haha.
As for diet Maria has a smoothie from Harley Pasternak’s plan for breakfast, but in general she tries not to obsess about what she eats.
In fact in the behind the scenes video below she mentions her love of pizza, french fries and cookies.
