The Beflossy BB Cream Showdown: Which BB Cream will win?

The Beflossy BB Cream Showdown: Which BB Cream will win?

I have to admit it I’m obsessed with BB Creams.

So obsessed in fact that while cleaning out my makeup drawer the other day I found 11. I know I used to have more than that to be honest, but I must have thrown the others out.

So instead of just hoarding BB Creams I thought I’d make a useful review for you guys.

So here you have it folks the Beflossy BB Cream Showdown.

A few notes before we start though:

1. My skin tone changes a lot throughout the photos and that’s due to several things including lighting changes, shades of the BB Creams and the fact that I did most of these images back to back so my skin was very red and irritated by the end of the day. Try not to pay attention to that and just look at the coverage.

2. Most BB creams are promoted as an all-in-one facial cosmetic product to replace serum, moisturizer, primer, foundation, and sunblock. So I judged them based on these factors as well as wear time. Some products may look better in the images than they did in real life so just an FYI.

Now onto the showdown!!

Now that you’ve seen pics let me tell you a bit about the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

The Great:

The Tarte BB Cream($34.00) wins hands down! Of all the BB Creams I’ve tried it’s the only one that lives up to all of its claims. This stuff will work for most skin types, but it’s perfect for those of us with oily/combo skin and large pores. It’s just an amazing product there’s not much more I can say about it!

The Good:

L’Oreal Paris Magic Skin Beautifier B.B. Cream ($7.96)

This product won for best drugstore BB Cream. It reminds me a lot of the Tarte BB Cream in terms of making my skin look flawless, etc. The only problem is it doesn’t have the same staying power or ability to keep me shine free for hours. It’s still an amazing product though and it’s a heck of a lot cheaper than the Tarte one so if you’re on a budget be sure to check it out!

Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream Combination to Oily Skin ($11.97)
Another great drugstore BB Cream with great coverage. A very close second to the Loreal one.

Honorable Mentions:

Rimmel BB Cream.

A old favorite and while I feel there are better options at the drugstore these days this one still isn’t bad.

The Bad:

Pacifica BB Cream

Olay BB Cream

Neither of these have any coverage and they both left me looking greasy. They may work for you if you have perfect , dry skin but they did nothing for me. I may just use them as a moisturizer we’ll see.

If a BB Cream is shown in the picture, but not mentioned in the Great, the Good or the Bad that’s because I’m neutral on it.

That’s it.

I hope it was helpful and saved you some money haha.

Which one do you think looks best?

What’s your favorite BB Cream?
