Lush Cosmetics Soap Haul and Review

I can’t believe I have never done a Lush haul/review here before. What was I thinking? I love Lush soaps!! My husband surprised me with an early Christmas present last night and it was a bag of my favorite Lush soaps! How awesome is he? I was so excited I had to share. Before I do for those who don’t know here is a little bit about Lush and their beliefs.

Lush Core Beliefs:

We believe in making effective products from fresh, organic* fruit and vegetables, the finest essential oils and safe synthetics.

We invent our own products and fragrances. We make them fresh by hand using little or no preservative or packaging, using only vegetarian ingredients, and tell you when they were made.

We believe in buying ingredients only from companies that do not commission tests on animals and in testing our products on humans.

We believe in happy people making happy soap, putting our faces on our products and making our mums proud.

We believe in long candlelit baths, sharing showers, massage, filling the world with perfume and in the right to make mistakes, lose everything and start again.

We believe our products are good value, that we should make a profit and that the customer is always right.

* We also believe words like fresh and organic have honest meaning beyond marketing.

How great is that? Ok, Now onto the soaps….

Godmother Soap:

Godmother is the best smelling soap I have ever smelled!! EVER!! It smells just like Snow Fairy shower gel for those of you who love Snow Fairy. If you’re new to Lush and you haven’t smelled Snow Fairy, they describe the scent as sweet like fruity pink candies. It’s a very sweet and yummy scent!! Perfect for all my fellow girlie girls out there. This is my favorite soap ever you must try it! Love, love, love this soap.

$5.95 for 3.5 oz.

I Should Coco Soap:

If you’re a fan of coconuts then this soap is a must have!! It’s wonderful smelling and reminds me of summer, the beach and palm trees. Oh, Summer how I miss you.

$7.95 for 3.5 oz.

Rock Star Soap:

Rock Star is almost tied with Godmother as my favorite soap scent ever. It’s a hard scent to describe, Lush calls it bubble gum scented, but it reminds me more of cotton candy. The point being if you want to smell sweet like candy you should pick up Rockstar soap. It smells good enough to eat!!

$7.95 for 3.5 oz.

Porridge Soap:

I got a sample of this soap and it smells pretty good. It has a sweet molasses fragrance with oats to exfoliate and organic orange for nutrition. This soap won’t make my favorites list anytime soon, but I would purchase it. It’s nice just not Godmother or Rockstar.

$5.95 for 3.5 oz.

Cinders Bath Bomb

I’m loving all of Lush’s Christmas products this year. My favorite has to be Cinders though. Cinders has a sweet cinnamon and orange fragrance which was inspired by a comforting yuletide drink in Sweden. It is the color of a glowing ember and crackles like wood on the fire. The crackling and popping is a result of the vegan fizzing candy (pop rocks!) that are put into each bomb. This bath bomb is such a cute idea. I love that they added the pop rocks to remind us of a warm and cozy fire. I can’t wait to use this bath bomb!

$3.95

I also received a sample of Wiccy Magic Massage Bar which seems nice, but I haven’t tried it yet. It’s supposed to be great after a workout to help with sore muscles. After my power yoga class today I need that!!

Have you girls tried Lush products before? What were your favorite products? Please share.
