Update:Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred

Several of you have been emailing me asking how my 30 Day Shred challenge went, so I thought I’d finally post an update. I’m pretty disappointed because I worked out for 30 days straight and guess how many pounds I lost? Are you ready for this? ZERO!! I actually gained 5 pounds in 30 days. I can see a huge difference in my strength levels, but come on 5 pounds? My husband likes to keep reminding me that it’s because I gained muscle, but I was hoping for at least a 5 pound loss.

My verdict:

If you’re like me and only have 10-15 pounds you’d like to lose you won’t see a big difference with this in terms of weight loss. You will gain strength and see that your clothes look and fit better though. Now that the challenge is over I’m going back to The Workout DVD, because I actually see the scale move when I’m using it. Have you tried this DVD? What were your results?
